Hello, sisters!  This is the beginning of the race to our homecoming on September 8, 2007!  After months of brainstorming our homecoming concept, we decided to keep it simple and just describe ourselves -- We're girls who just wanna have fun!  And for sure, we're going to bring that to you on the second Saturday of September. 

WE WANT YOU to join us and make the occasion memorable by presenting a number at the highlight of the day -- the Homecoming Program at our newly-renovated and air-conditioned Marian Auditorium.  Conceptualized by MCHS 1982 Silver Jubilarians, the program will feature batches from the 1950s to 1990s presenting fun female icons from every decade -- from Doris Day and Audrey Hepburn of the 50s to Marilyn Monroe, Amalia Fuentes and Susan Roces of the 60s to Vilma Santos and Nora Aunor of the 70s to Sharon Cuneta, Maricel Soriano and Madonna of the 80s to Debbie Gibson and Mariah Carey of the 90s.  But there's more!  We're adding a fun twist to this exciting line-up -- We want your batch do one of the following presentation choices:

Feature a fun female icon from a decade different from yours; or

• Highlights 2006
• Photo Gallery
• Others

     Feature a fun female icon from your decade and combine this with an icon of another decade!

Now, you know you're wondering what we're up to.  We want your batch to be fun and unpredictable!  You can do any of the following suggestions --

·         The 90s girls can do Marilyn Monroe's, "Diamonds are a Girls' Best Friend," then segue to Madonna's "Material Girl" and end with Paris Hilton's new song;

·         The 80s girls can do a medley of Vilma Santos and Nora Aunor's songs of the 70s;

·         The 70s girls can spoof the famous movie lines, songs and dances of Susan Roces, Amalia Fuentes and Nida Blanca;

·         The 60s girls can do a Supremes medley and segue to Dream girls;

·         The 50s girls can surprise us by presenting a spoof of Madonna or Beyonce!

Your batch is free to be as creative and fun as you want to be!

 Please limit your production number to seven (7) minutes only -- includes entrance, performance, AVPs and exit.

MCHS 1982 needs to know your production number concept by July 8.  We want to avoid repetitions and will follow a first-call, first-reserved rule on production concepts.  We will need you production concepts to make our script and prepare AVP of your featured female icon(s).  You can email your production concepts to mchs1982@gmail.com or text to Mary Rose Peña at 0917-5227673.

If you plan to include an AVP of your batch in your number, please submit to the MMCAA the broadcast quality, wide screen format of your AVP by August 8.

The fun will just begin at our Homecoming Program!  We will continue the celebration and dance 'til midnight at the party at our Miriam College cafeteria!

Whew!  We're sure to fill your day from 1:00 p.m. to midnight at Homecoming.  Make sure to reserve the date, SEPTEMBER 8, and we will all have fun!
